The city is accepting applicants interested in volunteering on the Complete Count Committee for the 2020 Census. Applications are available here.
The City of Norcross has resolved to form a nine-member Complete Count Committee (CCC) to help achieve a “complete count” for the Norcross area in the United States 2020 Census. The census is conducted nationwide every 10 years, the results helping to determine local governments' eligibility for federal and state grants along with SPLOST allocations. Norcross City Council wants to make sure every city resident is counted in the 2020 census next year. The nine-member committee will consist of community members selected by Mayor and Council who will help achieve an accurate count by raising awareness of the 2020 U.S. Census and working with local leaders to make sure the survey is carried out accurately.
