[ARCHIVED] You're Invited to the Class of 2020 Parade

Norcross Graduates: we want to celebrate you with a parade!

Saturday, May 30th at 11:00 a.m.
Vehicle Line-Up 10:40-11:00 a.m.

High School & College Graduates of 2020 who are residents of the City of Norcross

Line up at One Heart Church. The route will progress through the city and be shared on NextDoor and the city’s social media closer to the event.

Decorate your car and join the line-up! Include your name and school you graduated from. High school graduates may want to share where they are headed to college and decorate for it. Have a driver, drive yourself, share a vehicle among several graduates… up to you! No need to RSVP.

Please spread the word, and join us on Saturday for some celebratory, but socially distant, fun! If you are not a graduate but live on the route (to be announced soon) please stand out in your yard or sidewalk to cheer for them as they pass by. If the parade won’t pass your home, line the streets downtown or the perimeter of Thrasher Park (while respecting social distance) to participate. The antique fire truck will lead the parade and the city’s new trolley will serve as the caboose. Feel free to make posters, ring cow bells, decorate your yard, anything is welcome to help them feel loved and celebrated! ??
