It was brought to the city's attention yesterday that a large elm tree at Thrasher Park had a major structural defect associated with it, potentially endangering the public. SavAtree inspected it this morning to see if it could be salvaged by cabling and bolting, however it was deemed too much of a liability due to its location in proximity to the playground and entrance. We have opted to remove the tree for safety reasons. The work will be performed tomorrow morning, June 16th.
