[ARCHIVED] City of Norcross Officials Seek Citizen Input

survey

Norcross, Georgia: City officials are pleased to announce they will be conducting a comprehensive quality of life survey over the next two months.

“We’re very excited to be conducting this survey,” says Mayor Bucky Johnson. “This survey will help city staff and council identify priorities for the community and improve the quality of life in Norcross.”

For the past few weeks, Sonya Isaac, Executive Administrator, has been working with independent consultant, National Research Center, Inc. of Boulder, Colorado, to develop the survey. The instrument, known as The National Citizen Survey™, allows the City to compare results and benchmark residents’ opinions against other communities across the country. The survey will include questions about quality of life, important characteristics of community services provided by Norcross and priorities for the future. The goal of the survey is to identify key areas the City of Norcross needs to focus on improving over the course of the next five years. By utilizing a citizen survey, we hope to ensure that the goals set forth by the City Council are aligned with the needs of our citizens. The survey will be available online in English and Spanish on August 9, 2016.

Norcross Mayor and council encourage all residents to participate in this survey saying, “Norcross is a great community and the results will help to create an even better City. We encourage everyone living in Norcross to take the survey and help us chart our community’s future.”

Residents with questions about the survey may contact the City by phone at (770) 448-2122, by email at sisaac@norcrossga.net or by visiting www.norcrossga.net.
