Boys and ghouls of all ages are invited to meet up at Lillian Webb Park at 3 p.m. on Saturday, October 29 as the City of Norcross conjures up a Halloween-themed event that’s so fun…it’s scary! Norcross’ more mature local monsters will want to mark their calendars for October 27-30 when Lionheart Theatre Company presents the acclaimed Lawless Spirits Tour.

“The City of Norcross prides itself on providing events and gatherings for the whole community,” commented City of Norcross Mayor Bucky Johnson. “The upcoming BOOfest and Lawless Spirits Tour will present the perfect opportunity to experience all that Norcross has to offer.”

The BOOfest activities include a costume parade through historic downtown Norcross. Children will line up according to age group before the little ghosts and goblins march down Jones Street to Thrasher Park. The spooky spectacle culminates in a costume contest for the kids and their “pet”rifying pooches, hot dog feast and more. Prizes will be awarded to 'best boy costume' and 'best girl costume' in three age categories: infant-4 years old, 5-11 and 12-teen. Participating pups will be judged for Most Original Costume and Best Dog & Master Combo Costume.

Lionheart Theatre Company’s Lawless Spirits Tour will feature two performances each night from 6:30 – 7:30 p.m. and 8 – 9 p.m. Departing from The Rectory at 10 College Street, the tour features a spirited stroll through historic Norcross as guests explore the local lore of downtown. Don’t be surprised if you happen upon a friendly phantom or two along the way!
