Update 4/8/20: Governor Kemp has extended the Shelter in Place Order through April 30th.

---

Effective from 6:00 p.m. Friday, April 3rd through 11:59 p.m. Monday, April 13th, a Shelter in Place Order has been issued by Georgia Governor Brian Kemp. The Governor’s Shelter in Place Order preempts all local emergency orders related to COVID-19, superseding and suspending all previous county and city orders. The State of Georgia is now responsible for all aspects of implementation. This statewide order by our Governor to shelter in place expands the reach of advisories throughout the state to ensure that best practices are in place for the health and safety of all Georgia residents.

Please contact the office of the Governor at gov.georgia.gov, covidcomments@georgia.org, or 404-656-1776 for further information. Questions specifically related to essential infrastructure may be directed to cisa.cat@cisa.dhs.gov.
