Advisory: Hurricane Zeta expected to bring heavy rainfall to our area overnight. Downed trees and powerlines possible.
Per the National Weather Service:
Heavy rainfall of 2” to 4” may lead to localized flash flooding as well as flooding of rivers and streams.
Sustained winds of 25-45 mph with gusts to 50 mph and weak, short lived tornadoes are possible. Downed trees and power lines are anticipated.
Timing
Rain will intensify later this afternoon and diminish by Thursday afternoon.
Strong, gusty winds will increase after midnight tonight and diminish by Thursday afternoon.
