The city is now accepting applications for the Tree Preservation Board. The Tree Preservation Board assists the Community Development Department in interpreting and enforcing the provisions of the Tree Protection, Buffers and Landscape Ordinance in the City’s Unified Development Ordinance (Article V, Chapter 200) and advises the mayor and City Council on matters pertaining to the preservation of trees and conservation of tree canopy cover within the city. They meet on the second Wednesday of the month, every other month at 10 a.m. If you are interested in playing an active role in the conservation of Norcross' tree canopy, please contact City Clerk Monique Lang (email@example.com) to submit your application to serve. You can learn more, including meeting days, missions and lists of other citizens serving on each board and commission on the city website under the City Government tab.
Applications are due Monday, May 24th. Download application here. Applicants who have applied within the previous two years do not have to reapply. If you are seeking reappointment, please use this application.
