1. How can I obtain a criminal history check?

With a Criminal History Request Form signed by the individual to be checked and valid identification, the Norcross Police Department can perform a criminal history check only within the state of Georgia for a $20 fee. Our Records Department is open 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Monday – Friday

Expungement / Record Restriction requires the following documentation: 1. A completed expungement application form 2. A Georgia criminal history 3. Copy of ID 4. Certified copy of the disposition The cost is $25. You will need to appear in person to our Records Department at 65 Lawrenceville Street, Norcross, GA 30071.

3. How do I file an Open Records Request?

Open Records Requests can be submitted online at JustFOIA, from the Records Department in person, via fax request to, via email request to records@norcrosspd.com, or by phone at 770-448-2111. After the first 15 minutes is it $17.17 per hour.

Incident reports are available within 3-5 business days and may be requested online at JustFOIA, from the Records Department in person, or via email (only with a personal email address; send email to records@norcrosspd.com). The Records Department is open 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday.

5. How can I obtain a copy of an accident report?

Accident reports are available within 3-5 business days and may be requested in person, via email (only with a personal email address; send email to records@norcrosspd.com) through www.buycrash.com. Video possibly available from JustFOIA. 

6. How can I get a copy of an incident report?

Incident/accident reports are available within 3-5 business days and may be requested online at JustFOIA, from the Records Department in person or via email (records@norcrosspd.com). Contact the records department @ 678-421-2050 for fees. Those involved in the incident/accident will require submitting a personal email address.

7. Where do I pay a citation issued by a Norcross Police Officer?

If your ticket was issued by a Norcross Police Officer, you will need to come to the City of Norcross Municipal Court or you may also contact them directly at 770-448-2173.

8. My vehicle was impounded. How can I get it back?

You may contact the Norcross Police Department at 770-448-2111, or come to the Records Department 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday for instructions on getting your vehicle returned.

9. What should I do if my property is lost or stolen?

If your property has been lost or stolen, you should file a report as soon as possible in person at the Norcross Police Department, 65 Lawrenceville Street, Norcross, GA 30071 or contact us at 770-448-2111.
